Will you be making more 1/6 scale figures?, if yes will you be making female counterparts/compatible for the Sicily boys?
We are considering releasing more 1/6 scale figures, but for now, we are not considering female counterparts/characters compatible with the Sicily series.
Will there be more male dolls and larger dolls?
There will be more male dolls. Currently, two series of male dolls are in production. The largest size we are considering now is special 1/6 scale.
Would you make accessories such as clothes etc for the past in Sicily series?
Currently, we are not considering making accessories such as clothing for the Past in Sicily series.
Will you be making a second series/sequel series to 10,000 escape room?
The second series of Ten Thousand Escape Plans is currently in production!
Will you be making any more Sicily boys? Can we expect a Past in Sicily second series soon?

Product Design
Do the characters in the Past in Sicily have background stories or reasoning behind their designs? I think they’re really unique and I want to know more about them!
Past in Sicily is set in a mafia backdrop. Each character manages their own domain, with power struggles and tensions. In the end, they all become your allies.
Why were the Past in Sicily dolls mjd while the Paradox World dolls were bjd?
Regarding the body types, we hope to create different structural bodies so that players with different needs can find the structure they love.
Your style of dolls is so unique! What were your inspirations when designing “The Past in Sicily”? Is there a hidden story behind these dolls?

Regarding the body types, we hope to create different structural bodies so that players with different needs can find the structure they love.
How do you decide a theme for doll lines? How many people are involved with designing dolls? What’s your process for designing and making the dolls?
We decide the doll series themes based on market/user demand and the designers' aesthetic concepts. Generally, 5 or fewer people are involved in the design. The process is: propose concept & determine character style → flat illustrations → physical prototyping.
Do you prefer making mjd or bjd?
We use different body types to match different dolls, so we love them all.
What is your favorite of your own doll lines?

2. Go 1/12 scale. If your dolls fit in with those there would be a higher adoption rate. You could walk the line between action figures and dolls and get both audiences. Most dollhouse stuff is 1/12. It just works.

4. I love the Ten Thousand Escape Plans series, although I was a little disappointed by the change in faceplate production, since I think the older ones looked nicer, while the newer ones looked more blurry and smudged. I hope the old style is used in future production.

18. I really love the designs from HEARTBEAT MOMENT, my first ever BJD was Yue Mian from The Ten Thousand Escape Plans line and she is still one of my favorite. I also love The Past in Sicily line for how customizable they are. However, the quality of Yue Mian, especially her stringing, leave a lot to be desired. Her bone collar and syringe accessory fell apart very easily, I have to stitch the bone to the collar with thread because using glue wouldn't work. The Past in Sicily line also have a lot of issues with their outfits, my Lorenzo's pants was very tight and hard to put on which also make him unable to pose. The buttons on his waist coat fell off very easily and the cape doesn't fit well. I hope the quality will be further improve in the future because I would like to get more of The Past in Sicily dolls.
