The sculpt of these dolls are absolutely lovely and mobility is great! Some of the clothes have some stray strings but that’s understandable at this scale; Additionally, I was given two extra outfits and they’re so lovely I’m very happy with this purchase and this store!!

Penny’s Box has once again created beautiful BJDs, however the current distribution of the 3 set is flawed, which has created a small controversy amongst collectors.
When ordering a 3 set you only have a chance of two outcomes/lineups consisting of 1: Dan Nie, Ran Xing, and Celestial Music or 2: Shu Zhi, Baoxiang Flower, and Moon Spring. The problem is, we assumed we’d be getting a random assortment of characters due to the “Blind Box” theme. Arguably set 2 also has the more interesting/different character designs (Shu Zhi’s outfit and downturned ears, Moon Spring’s hair and half open eyes, Baoxiang flower’s pants), while the set 1 characters share the same basic silhouette,…

Bought the 3-set and received the Dan Nie, Ran Xing and Celestial Music trio; I very much wanted Shu Zhi so am a bit disappointed that the 3-sets do not seem to be at all randomised.
Nevertheless, the dolls themselves feel heavy and are very well made. They are very poseable but I did struggle to stand them up in a stable position as the joints do not lock in some positions. The clothes sport a few loose threads and frayed edges, but understandable considering how delicate they are, and in the end are not detractors. The outfit designs and accessories complement each other beautifully.
